I have been with Beacon for about 20 years and I have only received 2 credit line increases even with an excellent payment history with all my creditors. I have had multiple loans with Beacon and all were paid back in full, but it seems that doesn't matter as far as credit worthiness with them. I have been a self employed business owner for over 23 years and I have to go above and beyond to prove that time and time again... It's the same business I used to pay the other loans off .Â
If I could give this branch zero stars I would. This is a long one so bear with me. My father passed away in May of 2020 leaving behind me and my two other siblings as his only surviving relatives. He was also unmarried. We are in the process of settling his estate finally. Beacon has been extremely uncooperative in providing us with the information needed to settle out his account with them even after being served with court stamped documents ordering them to turn over that information to us. I just didn't like the experience that I had to go through with getting this loan having to wait 2 weeks out to get something that I will soon have to pay a note on and I still don't have the vehicle every thing that I ask of my loan officer said no to make it better for me! Now she is on vacation so crazy to meÂ
Their customer service is the worst I've ever encountered, even for a bank. Called to check on a strange transaction and was told to deal with the merchant and hung up on. Then got a call from a VP of sales and she threatened to close my acct. Horrible bank and worse people working there. Better off with your money in the mattressÂ
