We are DIYers. We stopped in to their offices and talked to a man about what we wanted. He explained how things worked. We looked in the yard at their gravel choices and picked VA brown 3/4 - 1 inch. Many different shades from light to medium dark I would say. Made arrangements for delivery. Delivery was great with about 7800 lbs. on schedule. Delivery guy was great, putting pile right where I wanted.
